Parent-and-Child Sunglasses Gift Set: A 3,000-Set Project Brief

October 16, 2026 · JUNLIAN

Procurement planning example. This project brief illustrates a proposed configuration and ordering process. It is not presented as a verified completed delivery or customer testimonial. Final specifications, testing, quantities and timing are subject to written agreement.

A parent-and-child sunglasses range needs more than two attractive frame styles. The adult and children’s products must work together as a retail offer, with matching brand artwork, clear set contents and coordinated production quantities. This brief shows how JUNLIAN can organize those decisions for a proposed US summer gift and online retail program.

Project Scope: 3,000 Sets, 6,000 Pairs

These are example project quantities, not a general minimum order requirement. Count sets and individual pairs separately on the purchase order.

Coordinate Two Styles Under One Brand

The ivory upswept adult reference provides the starting shape for the adult product. The brief proposes a laser-applied logo inside the temple, subject to the selected material and sample approval. A custom rigid gift box, brand card and microfiber cleaning cloth form the adult packaging proposal.

The purple heart-shaped children’s reference provides the second style. The brief proposes a screen-printed temple logo and a colorful soft pouch. Use coordinated artwork and color direction across the adult box and children’s pouch without assuming the packaging dimensions are identical.

Define the Final Retail Unit

Confirm whether the adult box and children’s pouch are packed together in one outer retail gift box or supplied as separately packed items for the retailer to combine. This decision affects the packing list, carton allocation, assembly work and quotation. A shared shipping carton alone does not establish a finished retail gift set.

Approve an assembled packaging sample and a component checklist before the final packing arrangement is released to production.

Specify Lens and Documentation Requirements

The brief requests UV400 protection and documentation appropriate to the intended US market. Confirm the final lens material, performance requirements and applicable testing with the buyer before production. Catalog photographs do not establish lens performance. Any product compliance statement must be supported by documentation for the actual supplied configuration.

Approve the Sample Before Bulk Production

Allow approximately 15 days for sampling, with timing confirmed for the actual development scope. Check frame color, fit and dimensions, lens specification, logo size and position, and packaging artwork. Record revisions by component and approve the final specification in writing. Sample and tooling charges are credited against the corresponding production order when it is placed; confirm the amounts in the quotation.

Agree Payment, Inspection and Timing

This example uses T/T with a 30% deposit and the balance paid after production and before dispatch. The planning target is production completion within 60 days of receiving the deposit, subject to the agreed schedule. International transport and customs clearance are separate. Changes to artwork, components or approvals require the delivery schedule to be reconfirmed.

Agree the pre-shipment inspection method in advance: customer inspection, a third-party inspection, shipped samples or video review. Check quantities, approved product details, set contents and carton shipping marks before authorizing dispatch. FOB, EXW or CIF can be discussed in the quotation. Other payment arrangements, including L/C at sight, are subject to agreement.

Why Coordinate the Project Through JUNLIAN?

JUNLIAN can coordinate frame selection, branding and packaging with factory partners around one specification and component list. This gives the buyer a single project discussion covering both frame styles, rather than separate instructions that may disagree on quantities, artwork or packing.
