Sunglasses Gift Sets: Choosing a Hard Case or Pouch

October 15, 2026 · JUNLIAN

A hard case and a soft pouch can lead to different sunglasses gift set configurations. The purchasing decision is not simply which looks more premium. It depends on the frame, the way the set will be presented and the contents the buyer wants to include. Compare the options against one agreed brief before requesting prices.

Sunglasses and hard case reference SET-022
SET-022 is a hard-case reference. Confirm the complete contents of the quotation.

Begin With the Frame That Must Fit

Choose the frame reference before approving its storage component. Record the folded dimensions and review the sample with any cloth or insert that will sit beside it. A broad front or pronounced temple detail can change the space needed. Ask for a physical fit review rather than selecting a case from its outside dimensions alone.

Use SET-022 as a starting point for a hard-case discussion and SET-019 for a shield-frame and zip-case configuration. These examples illustrate different combinations; they do not establish that either storage component fits your chosen frame.

Compare Three Questions, Not One Label

A pouch can be worth discussing where a compact presentation matters, while a structured case creates a different pack format. Neither description proves protection in transit or performance in use. If the project requires a specific assessment, state the requirement and agree how it will be checked.

Make Quotations Comparable

Ask for a base configuration and clearly labeled alternatives. For example, compare the same frame and quantity with option A storage, then option B storage, keeping the artwork and other components consistent. Request separate prices for any printed card or outer box. This prevents a lower price for fewer components from being mistaken for a better offer on the same set.

JUNLIAN’s minimum quantity for gift sets is 1,200 sets per style. Confirm whether a change of storage component or printed artwork creates a different configuration for minimum-quantity purposes. Do not assume that a frame minimum automatically covers every accessory variation.

Review the Assembled Sample

Check opening and closing, frame clearance, the position of printed materials and the final appearance from the customer’s viewpoint. Record which frame and accessory codes were used. If a substitute component is proposed later, review it as a change to the approved configuration rather than accepting the description “equivalent case” without details.

For sample planning, JUNLIAN generally works with approximately 15 days for sampling and 30–60 days for bulk production, with the scope, start point and final timing agreed for each project. Include any alternative-package review in that conversation.

Sunglasses and Case Fit Review Sheet

Review the selected sunglasses and storage component as one assembled sample. Record the frame reference, case or pouch reference, color and sample revision first. A case name or outside measurement does not confirm that the assembled set fits.

Check on the assembled sample What to record Question before approval
Folded frame Length, width and depth; identify the measured sample and unit Which protruding frame or temple features define the space needed?
Usable interior Supplier-confirmed internal space and any lining, insert or partition Is the measurement for the finished case, with its insert installed?
Contents and closure Exact frame, cloth, insert and other items inside the sample Does the case close as intended without forcing the frame or trapping accessories?
Loading and removal The agreed orientation and assembly sequence Can staff load the same configuration consistently, and can the customer remove it as intended?
Retail presentation Card, logo orientation and position in the outer package Is the approved view consistent across the frame, case and printed components?
Open items Observed differences, proposed correction and next sample revision Which changes need another review before this configuration is approved?

Use clear photographs of the open case, the packed contents and the closed retail set to explain an observation. A visual fit review does not verify protective or transit performance; record any required assessment separately with its agreed method.

For a sunglasses with case set enquiry, begin with the current custom sunglasses gift set collection and identify every included item in the gift-set component list. Keep the fit record with the sample approval checklist so a replacement case is treated as a new component revision.

Send a Two-Option Brief
