Eyewear Orders: Planning Inner Packs and Carton Allocation
October 16, 2026 · JUNLIAN
A product assortment and a packing plan answer different questions. The assortment states what you buy; the packing plan states how those units are grouped for handling and identification. Prepare a proposed allocation, then ask the supplier to confirm what is practical for the final products and packaging.

Start With the Unit Definition
State whether the unit is one pair, one complete gift set or another agreed package. Use the same unit throughout the quantity table. If the quotation is in sets but the packing list is in pieces, add a clear conversion rather than asking someone to infer it.
Separate Single-Reference and Mixed Packs
Tell the supplier whether each inner pack should contain one reference or an agreed mix. For a mixed pack, list the quantity of every component reference. A carton total alone does not explain the assortment inside it.
Check the Arithmetic
As an illustrative calculation, 200 units divided into packs of 10 would produce 20 packs. This is not a confirmed JUNLIAN packing capacity. The supplier must confirm the pack quantity, physical arrangement and any partial-pack treatment for the chosen product.
Confirm Physical Packing Information
Request the final carton dimensions, weight information and packing arrangement when available. Do not calculate a shipment quote from a product photo or an unconfirmed carton example. Any change to a gift-set case or presentation box may require another packing review.
Connect Labels to the Allocation
Agree how reference, color, quantity and carton sequence are identified. Check the packing summary against the order allocation before dispatch. Keep a revised packing list if quantities or combinations change, and make sure the buyer receives the current version.
Buyer Planning Worksheet
| Planning field | Buyer instruction | Confirmation needed |
|---|---|---|
| Unit | Pair or complete set | Same unit in all documents |
| Inner pack | Single reference or specified mix | Feasible pack quantity |
| Carton | Proposed reference grouping | Final dimensions and weights |
| Marking | Reference and quantity format | Approved label layout |
For the retail-facing information, see the gift-set label brief. Use the component list to define complete sets before discussing carton allocation.
